A big thank-you to all of you who came to the lantern walk on November 1st, 2026. We had a great time and we hope you did too!

At least two dozen people were involved in making the walk happen this year. Please give a round of applause to these folks who gave us their time, skills, and creativity! No, really, clap your hands, even as you sit there on your couch or in front of your computer. And if you are interested in helping with next year's walk write to us at puppet_hour@yahoo.com and we'll add you to our volunteer mailing list.

If you have photos or videos from the walk we would love to have you share them with us at puppet_hour@yahoo.com.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe for the walk. The money helps cover the costs of the walk and lets us buy equipment that will make the walk better and easier to put on next year, like rechargeable battery packs and a sturdy cart for bringing things into the woods and back out after the walk.

And remember, it is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
